Rick has been a carpenter for over twenty years. He started his career in the Pacific Northwest as a boatbuilder with a focus on traditionally made wooden boats. In 2007, he relocated to the coast of Maine where he had spent summers as a child. In Rockport and Brooklin, Rick worked for over twelve years at some of the country's most renowned boatyards, again specializing in custom wooden boats using both traditional and modern techniques. Today, as the principal carpenter for Rick Chamberlain Carpentry, he works with homeowners to design, oversee, and build projects ranging from custom builtins to basement remodels. Rick lives in Yarmouth with his wife and three children.
